Engine/Drivetrain
  • Liquid-cooled 475 cc single-cylinder OHV four-stroke engine is longitudinally mounted in the frame, allowing direct driveshaft alignment to the front and rear wheels for improved drivetrain efficiency.
  • Electronic fuel-injection system features a 36 mm throttle body and provides numerous benefits, including instant throttle response, consistent performance regardless of altitude or temperature, and hassle-free cold-weather starting.
  • Five-speed (plus reverse) manual-shift transmission is both durable and easy to use.

Chassis/Suspension
  • Rear suspension system combines a steel swingarm design with a single high-quality and adjustable shock absorber to produce 174 mm (6.9 inches) of supple, well-controlled travel.
  • Solid rear axle ensures excellent stability and control – particularly on rough or uneven surfaces.
  • Independent double-wishbone front suspension uses high-quality shock absorbers to provide 171 mm (6.7 inches) of supple travel.
  • Sturdy frame and suspension provide an exceptional 194 mm (7.6 inches) of ground clearance.
  • Rugged, large-diameter Maxxis 25 x 8-12 front, 25 x 10-12 rear tires provide added ground clearance while maintaining precise handling.
  • Dual front disc-brake calipers feature a patented built-in scraper system to remove mud and snow from inside the front wheel to help prevent buildup between caliper and rim to ensure consistent braking performance.
  • Brake pads feature thick, long-wear material with improved mud durability, feel and control. Pads have an internal scraper that gives audible warning when pad life is low.

  • Multi-function LCD digital instrument panel is compact, tough and waterproof, and features large readouts for fuel level, gear position, speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, hourmeter and oil change reminder. Panel includes LED lights for Reverse, Neutral, oil temperature and front differential indicator.
